Brooke & Jonathan’s August 24th wedding was full of amazing moments and a ton of beautiful and heartfelt decor!

The couple wed at our newest venue, The Orchard! The bride had a vision of how she wanted her day to look and put a lot of hard work into acquiring the perfect pieces of furniture and decor to bring her vision to life. The newlyweds were able to borrow furniture from home, their church and friends to add to the beautiful barn at The Orchard.

Brooke’s favorite flower is the sunflower and it was everywhere! From the seating assignment window that the bride made herself to the cake. It added the perfect pop of color wherever you looked!

The sun was shining all day and The Orchard looked absolutely gorgeous!

The newlyweds decided they didn’t want to do a traditional “first look” and instead hid behind the barn door and handed over notes they had written for each other. It was a sweet moment and kept the tradition of not seeing the bride before the wedding intact. Also before the ceremony the groomsmen lead a prayer over the groom for a happy and healthy life with his new bride. The flower girl and ring bearer were not just adorable, but absolute pros when it came time to walk down the aisle!

Once traditional dances were over, the bride and groom played a fun game called the shoe game, where the DJ asked questions about the couple and the newlyweds had to put up who they believed the questions relates too. Who hogs the bed? Who is the worst driver? etc. Brooke and Jonathan chose to use picture cut outs of their heads instead of a shoe and had their guests laughing the whole time. After that the dance floor opened up and guests were treated to delicious apple pie pops for dessert.
